Women’s Masters football
Resilient Roses at Rovers
The Resilient Roses give women aged 35+ a relaxed and welcoming way to play football, get active and meet new people. All levels are welcome — including women who have never played before.
The team
Football for women 35+
The Resilient Roses are Doncaster Rovers’ Women’s Masters team, with casual training sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 7–8pm on the Synthetic Pitch at Anderson Park.
There are no training fees and no minimum fitness or experience level. Most players wear football boots, but runners with decent tread are absolutely fine while you give it a go. Kids are also welcome to come along, and you may see a few girls and boys joining in around training.

Competition
Play when it suits you
Players who want to compete can also join our 35+ women’s 7v7 team, with games played on Friday nights on a half pitch. There are four competition cycles throughout the year, generally aligned with school terms, so you can choose when you would like to play. Competition registration is $75 and places may be limited depending on numbers. We also take part in other competitions and football events throughout the year.
